Studios tours are presented by major studios in Hollywood, California. For example, NBC Studios offer NBC studio tours, Warner brothers studios with Warner brothers studio tours, and Sony Pictures with Sony Studio tours. These Studio tours are unique to LA, thanks to Hollywood. These studio tours offer behind the scene look at the top production studios of Hollywood. 

Each studio tour is different due to the spontaneous nature of movie production and television production. Most studio tours are walking tours lasting a few hours. Most major studios such as NBC studios offer studio tours everyday.

You have to either contact the studios for the free tickets or you can hang out at Hollywood Boulevard waiting for people to hand out free tickets. For example, there are always people outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre handing out free studio taping tickets. Most of them are for the same day. All they ask is that you clap a lot and act like you are enjoying the show tremendously. If you have time and have a mode of transportation to go to those studios, it is a good experience.
